"For these guys to receive this recognition is truly amazing," head coach Omar Gallo stated. "It's a true testament to the hard work they've put in not only for this year but for their entire four-year careers. It is one thing to be recognized by your peers in conference, but to be recognized by coaches in other top rated conferences says a lot about the boys. These two players are clearly the foundation of what has been created at Holy Cross and I have to personally thank them for all they've done for this program over their careers."
The 2013 men's soccer team won a program-best 14 games while setting numerous program milestones including the first two playoff victories in program history and advancing to the conference finals in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Four players were named to all-conference teams as the Saints went a perfect 8-0 at home during the season. Head coach Omar Gallo has won 23 games in just two seasons as head coach making him the all-time winningest coach in Holy Cross men's soccer history.
