(South Bend, Ind.) The Holy Cross women's golf team played 18 holes of golf in the cold and wind this weekend at the Battle at Blackthorn hosted by Bethel College.
The Saints finished the round shooting a team score 443 placing them in the eighth spot. Holy Cross junior Regina Slonkosky led the Saints finishing in a tie for 38th place.
Rounding out the Saints on the day was Victoria Anania and Blake Crane tied for 43rd and Kelly Murphy in the 46th position.
"The conditions were not ideal but I thought our girls did a nice job of competing on a difficult course," said Head Coach Tim Holt.
Campbellsville University took the team event shooting a 43 over 331 on the day. Top honors went to Lauren Nickoson of Marian University shooting a 7 over 79.
Saturday's round was cancelled because of high winds and rain. The Saints will finish their year on April 29th at the Robert Morris Spring Classic held by Robert Morris University.
