(Notre Dame, IN) Shalana Murray has signed a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at Holy Cross next fall. 
Shalana a 6 Foot Forward comes from the local powerhouse Washington High School.  She won a State Championship while attending Washington, and played with state-wide and national standout Skylar Diggins while she was there.
"We are really excited to have Shalana join our team.  She is a very skilled player, and hard worker.  She will be a big boost for us on the defensive end and in rebounding," said Head Coach Aimee Litka.
Shalana was First Team All Northern Indiana Conference while in high school, and she received Burger King Athlete of the Week as well.
"Shalana brings a wealth of basketball experience.  She played at the highest of levels and this will truly help her as she transitions into the collegiate game," said Litka.
The daughter of Cornell Murray and Jill Agnew. Shalana plans to major in Psychology while attending Holy Cross.
