(Notre Dame, IN) J.T Breveard of Riley High School and Adam Onderdonk of Clay High School will return to the South Bend area to continue their collegiate careers at Holy Cross College.
Breveard, a 5'9'' guard, spent his freshman year at Iowa Central Community College. At Riley, he averaged 15 points and 6 assists per game. In 2008, Breveard helped lead the Wildcats to a 23 - 5 record, N.I.C. title, and regional title. In his senior season, Breveard was named to the all - conference and all - metro teams.
"We are very excited to have JT and Adam for next season," said Head Coach Steve Baumgartner. "JT is going to help us out tremendously by adding depth and added production at the guard spot. He has the ability to run an offense, and defend extremely well."
The 6'8'' Onderdonk is transferring from Manchester College, a division III school. Onderdonk was a 3 year varsity letter winner at Clay High School. He averaged 7 points and 5 rebounds per game with the Colonials in his senior season.
"Adam is a big addition for us because he will add much needed depth to our front court," said Baumgartner. "His strength, quickness, and smart play allow him to be a factor at both ends of the court."
