NOTRE DAME, Ind. – First year head coach T.J. Mannen and the Holy Cross women's golf team is pleased to announce the signing of Lauryn Luckey for the fall of 2014.

"I'm looking forward to adding Lauryn to our team next season," Mannen stated. "She is a great talent with loads of potential for the future. She's another great recruit to keep our program moving forward in the right direction."

Luckey is currently wrapping up her senior year at Danville Community High School where she has been a member of the women's golf program. Her success on the links has resulted in receiving all-conference honors in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 while also being recognized as all-county in 2011 and 2013.

In addition to athletics, Lauryn also serves as a member of student council, national honors society, RSVP, BPA and an institute member.

Her greatest athletic accomplishment to date was being a qualifier for regionals.

Lauryn is the daughter of Steve and Tonda Luckey and plans to study business at Holy Cross. Her older sister, Kendra, is currently a sophomore on the women's golf team.

The Saints will open up their spring season beginning on March 28 in the St. Francis Invite at Prairie Bluff GC in Lockport, Ill.
