Men's Soccer - Wed, Aug. 20, 2008
The 2008 Holy Cross men's soccer team looks to repeat the success it had in its first year at the varsity level competing as an independent in the NAIA. The 2007 team had a tough time trying to find its identity. However, the team was able to win its last seven games, outscoring their opponents 49- 3. The 2008 team looks to capitalize on the momentum it had at the end of last season. The Brazilian born Head Coach Thiago Pinto will have his hands full with another packed schedule, including the home opener on August 25th against Indiana Tech. The Saints fell to the Warriors 5-0 in their second game last year but hope to avenge the loss. The Saints will have nine home games this fall, including four straight in October.
