NOTRE DAME, Ind. – With the 2014 season in the books, two members of the Holy Cross women's golf team were recognized with either All-Conference or All-CCAC Academic awards. Sophomore's Kendra Luckey (SO/Danville, Ind.) and Sarah Hartle (SO/Warsaw, Ind.) both received all-academic honors while Hartle also was recognized to the All-Conference team.
To be recognized for the All-CCAC Academic team, student-athletes must maintain a grade point average of 3.25 and have at least 30 credit hours at their institution.
Kendra Luckey, an education major, wrapped up her sophomore campaign appearing in seven events during the season. In her 13 rounds, Luckey posted a season average of 100.9 and posted a season-low round of 90 in round two of the Taylor Spring Invitational.
Sarah Hartle, also an education major, wrapped up her sophomore campaign appearing in nine events during the season. In her 16 rounds, she posted a team-best stroke average of 87.1, including a season-low round of 78 in round one of the Battle at Blackthorn. She closed out her season with five top-10 finishes. Hartle is the first Holy Cross women's golfer to be named to the All-Conference team.
The Saints concluded the 2014 season with a fourth place finish in the inaugural Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Championship.
