Kingston, Canada - Matthew Code, former Holy Cross men's golf player and 2014 graduate, shot a 64 (course record) in The Great Waterway Classic Open Qualifier on Monday, August 18. His record score qualified him to play in The Great Waterway Classic on the PGA Tour Canada this weekend August 21-24.

Code will be representing Holy Cross in this event with other PGA Tour professionals. This tournament is a major stepping stone in Code's journey to join the PGA Tour in the future.

"I am really excited to be part The Great Waterway Classic and I hope to play well and make the weekend cut. Playing at Holy Cross has really prepared me for these types of tournaments as the courses we played at in college tournaments are very similar to those that I will play on the professional circuit," said Code.
