Notre Dame, Ind. – Holy Cross College men's basketball has unveiled their six man recruiting class for the upcoming 2014-15 season. Head Coach Mike McBride has assembled a class that is made up of three freshmen and three juniors.

#3 Brock Cosey, Freshman Guard – South Bend, IN (South Bend-Riley High School)

Coach McBride's Comments:

"Brock has a tremendously high skill level and has shown an even greater commitment to being a tremendous teammate.  His natural ability adds value to our team on and off the court."


#54 Gary Evans, Junior Forward – Chicago, IL (South Suburban College)

Coach McBride's Comments:

"Gary brings a physical presence and a solid skill package to our team.  He can play inside or on the wing, that versatility will be of great benefit to us."


#1 O'Brien Hobbs, Junior Guard – Louisville, KY (Cincinnati State C.C.)

Coach McBride's Comments:

"O'Brien can impact the game with his defensive play and his ability to push the ball in transition to create for others.  He comes from a highly ranked junior college program so he knows how to win at a high level."


#34 Andrew Jones, Freshman Guard – Clarksville, IN (Clarksville High School)

Coach McBride's Comments:

"Andrew comes to Holy Cross after a highly decorated high school career where he led his team to the 2A IHSAA Semi-State game. Even more importantly than his high school accomplishments is the high potential he has for the next four years."


#30 Dalton Wagler, Junior Center – Washington, IL (Illinois Central College)

Coach McBride's Comments:

"Dalton will help anchor our inside game.  His physical play and high basketball IQ are of great value to our team's improvement."


#10 Cody Young, Freshman Guard – Fairfield, OH (Badin High School)

Coach McBride's Comments:

"Cody is a skilled, smart player that will continue to get better & impact the program for many seasons to come."


Also joining the new recruiting class will be Michael Anderson who is returning from an ACL injury he suffered keeping him out of action last season.

#43 Michael Anderson, Senior Forward - Indianapolis, IN 

Coach McBride's Comments:

"Mike's return brings added maturity to the team as well as depth to the frontcourt.  We are very excited that he will be with us again."
