(Notre Dame, IN) Jackson Hallahan will continue his academic and athletic career at Holy Cross College. Hallahan hails from Hutchinson, MN, and is a senior at Holy Family High School. Jackson will play the infield and pitch for the Saints baseball program.

Head Coach Tom Sutula is excited about signing Jackson; "Jackson Hallahan is a 5 tool player, who has excelled as a prep player in high school and on multiple competitive teams over the past several years. It is a significant that a player of his caliber is the first player to sign to play for the varsity baseball program at Holy Cross. Jackson is electric, a great base stealer, and has a great baseball sense. He will be a leader on this team for 4 years."

Throughout his high school tenure Jackson has been involved in a variety of athletics. He won letters in wrestling, football, and baseball. He was also a two time member of the All - Conference team in baseball. Jackson is the son of Patrick and Sharon Hallahan. He hopes to earn his degree in business.
The Holy Cross baseball team will begin varsity competition in the spring of 2011. The Saints will be part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), and compete in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC).
