Plymouth, Ind. - The women's golf team took the short trip over to Swan Lake in Plymouth, Indiana to compete in the Swan Lake Intercollegiate hosted by Taylor University. Unfortunately for the Saints, they were unable to crack the top five, finishing 8th out of 13 teams.
The Saints were once again led by freshman Natalia Campbell who carded a a two day 160 total. Campbell finished 10th after recording a 78 for round one, followed by an 82 during Saturday's final round. Campbell has not finished outside the top ten all fall. Another freshman standout, Jenna Vandenberg, finished tied for 33rd place after carding rounds of 86 and 87. Vandenberg was followed in the Saints lineup by Kylie Day, who recorded a two day 177 total which placed her tied for 41st. Day shot a 90 on day one followed by an 87 on Saturday.
Maisie Nugent and Macenzie Lane rounded out the Saints lineup at Swan Lake. The freshman duo finished in 49th and 56th place, respectively. The Saints have four freshman in their lineup and are competing with some of the top NAIA teams in the nation.
The Saints hit the links again October 17th at Whistling Straights in Wisconsin.
