     (Notre Dame, IN) Northridge High School soccer standout, Alaina McCraner has signed a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Holy Cross College.
       
 

     McCraner joins the Saints in hopes to shore up the defense with current Saint and former Northridge player Brooklyn Hodges. McCraner was part of the Northridge team that won sectionals in 2007. She was named to the NLC All-Conference team her junior and senior years. Alaina also received a Northridge team defensive award during her junior and senior years.

     "Alaina is a great addition to our team, her knowledge of the game will help us to achieve some goals we have established for the next season," said Head Coach Carlos Reynolds. "She is a great fit for our program and I am looking forward to start working with her."
     This past year Northridge went 16 - 2 and posted 14 shutouts. Alaina will work towards her degree in Education.
