     (Adrian, MI) The Holy Cross Women's Basketball team traveled to Sienna Heights University in a non-conference matchup Thursday evening at the SHU Fieldhouse.
       

     Both teams struggled from the field, but Sienna Heights used 29 offensive rebounds to pull away from the Saints. Sienna used second chance points and converted on 9-for-16 free - throws to take a 41 - 18 halftime lead.

     Holy Cross picked up the pace in the second half, but it was too little too late. The Saints shot 37% from the field and only 19% from 3-point range. Freshman Baysia Cox led the Saints with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Alandrea Nailon chipped in 10 points and 5 rebounds. Sienna was led by Shalaha Hubbard with 17 points, and Tanci Levit recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
     The Saints travel to Goshen College for a 7pm tip-off on December 17th. This will be the second meeting between the two schools this year. Goshen won 76 - 53 at the Judson University tournament on November 21st.
