Milwaukee, WI. The Holy Cross College women's soccer team had their first road game in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic conference when they traveled to Cardinal Stritch University for a 6:00 game. The Saints fell to the Wolves 11-0. With the loss women's soccer drops to 2-5-1 overall and 0-2 in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play.
The Wolves recorded 37 shots, recording 21 shots on goal. The Saints were unable to get adjusted to the speed of play, playing on turf for the first time this season. In the second half, Brianna Gonzalez had a great look with a shot on goal, but the Stritch goalkeeper was able to come away with the save.
Women's soccer will be back in action when they host Trinity International University Tuesday, September 26 in a 4:00pm kickoff.
