(Notre Dame, IN) Looking to keep pace with top seeded Olivet Nazarene University; the Robert Morris men's basketball team came into the McKenna Arena Saturday afternoon for a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) match-up with the Saints.
Robert Morris did not waste any time putting points on the board shooting 52% from the floor and draining 12 three-pointers on the game. Billy Rush and Roy Beard accounted for 42 of the 96 points for the Eagles as they cruised to a 96 - 54 victory. Beard recorded a double-double pulling down 16 rebounds to go with his 21 points.
Leading the Saints was sophomore guard Brad Kendall (Granger, IN) recording a season high 22 points. Taylor Williams (South Bend, IN) chipped in 10 and pulled down 5 rebounds.
The Saints will be back in action Tuesday, February 16th, in the McKenna Arena for their final home game of the year. The Saints welcome Moody Bible Institute in a non-conference match-up. Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm.
