Early Mistakes Costly For Saints

(Joliet, IL) The Saints traveled to the University of St. Francis Saturday afternoon for a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) match-up.
St. Francis jumped out to an early 13 - 2 lead. The Saints (3-26) only shot 31% from the field and committed 11 turnovers in the first half. St. Francis (7-19) shot 45.7% from the field and did not turn the ball over.
Holy Cross played a much better second half holding St. Francis to 36.8% shooting, but they could not overcome the 24 point halftime deficit. St. Francis had 4 guys in double figures. Billy Hubly led with 18. Leading the Saints was sophomore guard J.T. Breveard (South Bend, IN) with 16 points. Mark Wilkins (Chicago, IL) chipped in 11 and pulled down 7 rebounds.
The Saints fall to 0 - 9 in conference play and will play their regular season finale on Tuesday, February 23rd, at Olivet Nazarene University.
