(Notre Dame, IN) Senior guard Katie Fetters (Cincinnati, OH) and cheerleader Angie Riccioni were honored during Tuesday night's home women's basketball game against Olivet Nazarene University.
Much like the first meeting Olivet jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. The Tigers ran a full court press and began the game with a 14 - 2 run creating 7 turnovers. Olivet shot 47-of-117 from the floor including 61 three-pointers while making 21. Leading the Tigers was Lexie Heinold with 24 points on 8 three-pointers.
Leading Holy Cross was freshman center Baysia Cox (Niles, MI) with 22 points. Jacques Donaldson (South Bend, IN) chipped in 13 and pulled down 6 rebounds. Fetters finished with 4 points 1 rebound, and 1 assist.
The Saints finished their inaugural regular year at 5 - 25 overall. They will await the time and place for the first round of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) tournament.
