The Holy Cross College men's basketball team will be traveling to Chicago, IL to face the Cougars of St. Xavier in the quarterfinals of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) tournament.
This will be the third meeting between the two teams. St. Xavier won the first two meetings by the scores of 94 to 74 on November 6th, and 80 to 65 on December 2nd. Both big men, Andrew Tullis (Orland, IN) and Adam Onderdonk (South Bend, IN), recorded double digit points in the first meeting while Mark Wilkins (Chicago, IL) led the team with 8 rebounds. J.T. Breveard (South Bend, IN) led the Saints with 21 points and 7 rebounds in the second meeting.
Entering Tuesdays game Breveard is leading the Saints with 14.2 points per game and Andrew Tullis is leading with 4.9 rebounds per game. Julian Scott leads the Cougars with 10.1 points per game. This is the first year for the Saints in the CCAC. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 pm (EST).
