(Channahon, Ill.) The Saints ended the 2010 season with their first trip to the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) golf tournament. The tournament was held at the Heritage Bluffs golf course, a par 72 course.
After the first round of play the Saints were tied with Robert Morris for the fourth spot, but the Saints fell on day two back a spot with a 5th place finish. Leading Holy Cross was Tyler Alge shooting a two day score of 154 placing him fifth overall. Andrew Thomas shot a 161 putting him in a tie for 9th place overall. Rounding out the team was Tyler Kanczuzewski shooting a 170, Matt Adler with a 171, and Alex Malinowski shooting a 175 in the two day event.
St. Francis won the event shooting a two day score of 609, and earning a spot in the NAIA national tournament. Placing 2nd overall was Olivet Nazarene University finishing 5 strokes behind St. Francis. The Saints ended the event with a score of 654.
Grant Whybark of St. Francis and Seth Doran of Olivet Nazarene tied for first individually with a total score of 145.
