Garrett Johnson with Coach Harley
Men's Soccer - Tue, May. 4, 2010
(Notre Dame, Ind.) Garrett Johnson of Fulton, Ind., has signed a letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Holy Cross College with the men's soccer program.

The 5'10'' striker from Caston High School was named the two time most valuable offensive player for the Comets. He currently holds the all time single season and career records for goals at Caston. Garrett was also named the Rochester and Logansport male athlete of the week and was selected to play in the Indiana All Star game. Johnson was also selected to the first team All District his senior year.

"I first met Garrett four years ago at a pre-season camp I ran at Caston High School," said Head Coach Dustan Harley. "His work ethic was apparent even then. It is hard to find a player that will outwork Garrett and we are definitely happy to have him on our team and not playing against us. It is a pleasure to be able to bring someone who I have known throughout their high school career into our program."

Johnson joins the Saints as they enter their second year in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) and fourth in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
