Tyler Alge at Blackthorn Golf Course

(Notre Dame, Ind.) Junior golfer Tyler Alge was selected to the all - conference team in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC). Alge is the first golfer to earn this honor at Holy Cross.
       
Tyler put together strong performances all year finishing in the top spot for the Saints in all 5 tournaments. "Tyler led this team by example this year with his consistent play during some trying weather conditions," said Head Coach Tim Holt. "I look forward to his leadership next year as we try to take the team to the next level."
 
Consistent play was Alge's key to success as he finished in the top 10 in every event this year. His highest finish was third in the USF (Ind.) Cougar Spring Invitational at Cobblestone and Noble Hawk golf courses. He shot a two day score of 157 in very strong winds.  
 
In the conference tournament, Alge posted a two day score of 154 placing him fifth in the individual standings."I'm very pleased that Tyler Alge earned all-conference honors this year," Coach Holt said. "With the coaching change at mid-semester, Tyler stepped up and did everything I asked from him."
