Betsy Kwiatkowski

(Notre Dame, Ind.) Head Coach Matt Hunsberger has announced that Betsy Kwiatkowski will join the Holy Cross College women's basketball staff this year.
       
Originally from Galveston, Ind., Betsy played at Lewis Cass High School and was named one of the top 100 seniors by Indiana Hoosier Basketball Magazine (2003). She set the school record with 1,438 points during her senior season and was named first alternate on the Indiana All-Star Ballot.
 
Kwiatkowski, a former basketball player at Cleveland State University and Lincoln Memorial University currently works with the South Bend/ Mishawaka Convention and Visitors Bureau as the executive director of the South Bend Regional Sports Commission. At Cleveland State, Kwiatkowski earned the Athletic Academic Excellence Award in 2004, 2005, and 2006. At Lincoln Memorial University she was named team captain for the 2006-07 year. In her final season at Cleveland State, Betsy played in 20 games started in 9 and averaged 15 points per game. Most recently Betsy was the assistant varsity coach at St. Joseph High School in South Bend.
 
The Saints compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and are members of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC).
