(Kendallville, IN) The Holy Cross women's golf team finished in seventh place at the USF Cougar Invitational at Noble Hawk and Cobblestone golf courses.
Despite finishing seventh out of seven teams, the Saints scored as a team for the first time in program history. Leading the way for Holy Cross was junior golfer Regina Slonkosky (Minster, Ohio) shooting a two round score of 184. Slonkosky improved her score by 14 strokes in the second day to place her 33rd overall.
The two day event had a 143 par and the total yardage was 11,657 for the two courses combined. The Saints return to action on September 3rd, at Robert Morris University.
