(South Bend, Ind.) After a day one team leading 281, the Saints could not hold on to their one shot lead at the Battle at Blackthorn Saturday.
   
The Saints shot a team score 304 in day two to give them a two day score of 585 placing them in a three way tie for third with Madonna University and Wheaton College.
 
Eric Hartstein (South Bend, Ind.) once again led the Saints shooting a 73 after a record breaking round of 62 on Friday. Hartstein shot an impressive 9 under 135 two day score placing him first in the individual results.
 
Finishing in a seven way tie for 14th overall freshman Matthew Code (Ontario, Canada) shot a two day score 148. Code played consistent throughout shooting a 73 on day one and a 75 on day two.
 
In the 14 team event Marian University took top honors shooting a 1 over par two day score 577. The Saints continue their fall schedule Monday,September 20th, at Glenn Oaks Community College.
