Holy Cross - Sun, Oct. 31, 2010
(South Bend, Ind.) The Holy Cross men's and women's soccer teams honored their seniors at the Indiana Invaders complex as both teams closed out their seasons against Robert Morris University.

It was a special day for many of the seniors this year because they were the first recruited class for the soccer programs at Holy Cross. Among the seniors honored were Mediha Penic (South Bend, Ind.), Monica Zehr (Ft. Wayne, Ind.), and Megan Ohms (Michigan City, Ind.) of the women's team. The men honored Jose Rios (Elkhart, Ind.), Ashley Wormall (Nottingham, England), Oswaldo Garriddo (Elkhart, Ind.) Dan Hatfield (Johnsburg, Ill.), Sergio DelCampo (Elkhart, Ind.), Richie Campos (East Chicago, Ind.) and David Bodien (Detroit, Mich.)

Senior Vice President Tina Holland PhD., Head Coaches Carlos Reynolds, and Dustan Harley presented each player with a brick relating it to this class that was the foundation of the program. Each brick was plated with a message to the player.

Unfortunately for both teams they could not end the season on a winning note as the women's team was blanked 10 - 0 and the men dropped their final game 2 - 0. Be sure to check back with www.hcsaints.com for a season rewind of both the men's and women's soccer programs.
