(Adrian, Mich.) The men's basketball team played two games this weekend at the Maple City Classic hosted By Sienna Heights University.
      
On Friday night the Saints played host Sienna Heights University. The Saints took an early lead, but Sienna quickly took the lead from the Saints as they cruised to a 73 - 57 lead.
 
Justin Breveard (South Bend, Ind.) led the Saints with 23 points including 14-of-15 from the free-throw line. As a team the Saints shot just 30% from the field and committed 22 turnovers. Zach Craig led Sienna with 21 points.
   
Despite getting 4 players in double digit points the Saints were unable to get their first win of the season against Lourdes College.
 
After a back and forth first half the Lourdes opened up a 13 point lead in the second half, but the Saints were able to bounce back and pull within two. However, Lourdes hit their free-throws down the stretch and took the game 79 - 74. The Saints were led by Taylor Williams (South Bend, Ind.) with 16 points and 8 rebounds.
 
The Saints fall to 0 -5 on the year and they will be back in action November 16th, against NAIA DI opponent Robert Morris University.
