(Elgin, Ill.) Leading 28 - 26 at half the men's basketball team could not hold on for their first victory of the season as Judson University put together a 12 - 2 run over the final 5 minutes to win 68 - 55.
In the first ever meeting between the two schools the game saw 8 lead changes and the score was tied 10 times throughout the game.
Judson's Jason Sotira had a game high 19 points for the Eagles as they improve to 2 - 0 in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) play. The Saints were led by Justin Breveard (South Bend, Ind.) with 15 points which included 7-of-7 from the charity stripe. Mark Wilkins (Chicago, Ill.) chipped in 12 points and pulled down 4 rebounds.
The Saints fall to 0 - 12 on the year and 0 - 2 in conference play. Holy Cross continues their conference schedule next Wednesday, December 8th, against Purdue Calumet at the Pfeil Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30pm.
