Fans from all over the country can check out home games by clicking on the "LISTEN LIVE" link at the top of either the men's or women's basketball page or by clicking on the RRSN link provided on the right side of each page.
"We are excited to provide this service," said Athletic Director and men's basketball coach Bob Schermerhorn. "Parents, family, friends, alumni, and fans will be able follow our basketball programs more closely. We hope that this will give all of our athletic programs more exposure as the department and college grows."
The Regional Radio Sports Network (RRSN) was founded in 1992 by Indiana Sportscasters Hall-of-Famer, Paul Condry. The broadcast team at RRSN has been nominated and won multiple prestigious awards including; 17 time nominee and 7 time winner of the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association "Indiana Sportscaster of the Year", Indiana Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association "Marv Bates Award" winner for the Indiana Sportscaster of the Year, IHSAA Distinguished Media Service Award, Indiana Football Coaches Association - "State Media Award Winner", Indiana Basketball Coaches Association: Virgil Sweet "Outstanding Service Award", Indiana Dietetics Association- Nutrition in the News Award, as well as multiple special plaques and recognition from dozens of schools and communities.
The RRSN team will provide coverage of each game starting 15 minutes before the scheduled tip-off. The broadcast team will provide pre-game, halftime, and post-game analysis including coaches and player interviews. Listeners will also have the ability to replay any of the scheduled games after the broadcast is completed.
"After meeting with Paul and listening to their broadcasts I knew this would be a great fit at Holy Cross," said Schermerhorn. "They have a world class operation and world class broadcasters."
