(Palos Heights, Ill.) The Saints scored their first field goal at the 17:06 mark and didn't score their next field goal until the 10:56 mark ending a 6 minute and 10 second drought to start the game.

Trailing 21-4 midway through the first half the Saints struggled to score in their first game without season leading scorer Justin Breveard (South Bend, Ind.).

The Trolls built up a 26 point halftime lead and led by as many as 35 with just over 5 minutes remaining in the game as Holy Cross fell on the road in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) match-up 84-63 Wednesday night.

The Saints did not have an answer for Trinity gaurd Jamie King as he lit up the Saints with 45 points on 14-of-21 shooting from the field including 13-of-17 from behind the arc. Only one other Trinity player finished the night in double digit points.

Leading the way for Holy Cross was Taylor Williams (South Bend, Ind.) finishing with 21 points on 7-of13 shooting from the field. Freshman Dane Okuda (Huntington Beach, Calif.) chipped in 12 points for the Saints.

The Saints shot 42% from the field including 6-of-11 from 3-point range and turned the ball over 14 times compared to the Trolls 17. However, Holy Cross was outrebounded 54-27 and gave up 21 offensive rebounds. Trinity shot just under 40% from the field on the night.

Holy Cross falls to 2-21 on the year and 2-6 in conference play. The Saints will look to bounce back against Judson University this Saturday at the Pfeil Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 3pm and can be heard online at www.rrsn.com or on www.hcsaints.com.
