The Trojans built up a 17 point halftime lead and led by as many as 32 in the second half as the Saints fell 71-48. The loss puts the Saints at 5-25 overall and 2-10 in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC). The Saints shot 34% from the field and went 0-for-19 from behind the arc.
Holy Cross uncharacteristically turned the ball over 35 times and were outrebounded 49-31. Reanna Perera and Chamissa Anderson each recorded a double-double for the Trojans. Perea finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds while Anderson added 14 points and 14 rebounds.
