(Notre Dame, Ind.) Holy Cross junior forward Taylor Williams (South Bend, Ind.) has been named to the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) second team.
In 31 games this season, Williams averaged 14 points a game and pulled down 7.7 rebounds per game. His 7.7 rebound average was the second highest average in the conference. Williams also shot 47% from the field and was tied for fourth in the CCAC WITH 1.1 blocked shots in a game.
Averaging just over 30 minutes a game, Taylor pulled down 5.5 defensive rebounds a game which was second most in the conference. Williams also finished with a team high 434 points and 239 rebounds. He also had 8 double-double's on the year.
"Taylor had a great year for us," said Head Coach Bob Schermerhorn. "After Breveard went down Taylor stepped up and carried this team on his shoulders. I am excited to work with him this offseason and I know he will have a great senior year."
