Men's Golf - Thu, Jun. 2, 2011
(Chicago, Ill.) The 2010-11 golf season has come to an end, but the awards keep coming for Saints golfers Tyler Alge (Huron, Ohio.), Matthew Code (Ontario, Canada), and Eric Hartstein (South Bend, Ind.).

Senior Tyler Alge and freshman Matthew Code each received Second Team All-Conference honors while junior Eric Hartstein received First Team All-Conference honors.
"I'm excited to have Tyler, Matthew and Eric make the all-conference team this year," said Head Coach Tim Holt. "It shows the depth we had this year in leading us to a good team season.  I'm excited for Tyler to finish his career on a positive note.  My hope is that next year all of the guys make the conference team."
All three individuals were consistent on the course for the Saints. Code's best finish came at the Indiana Wesleyan Wildcat Invitational where he shot a 3 over par placing him second overall behind teammate Eric Hartstein who took top individual honors.
Finishing his collegiate career with the Saints Tyler Alge becomes the first student-athlete at Holy Cross to make an All-Conference team twice in his career. Last year, Alge was named First Team All-Conference in the CCAC's first season sponsoring golf.
The anchor on the team was Eric Hartstein who took two individual titles this spring and finished in second place overall at the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament.
Overall the Saints finished the 2010-11 season with a 90 - 13 head-to-head record and finished in the top three in 9 of their 10 events.
