Hockey Team Adds Three More to Class of 2015

(Notre Dame, Ind.) The Holy Cross Hockey team recently welcomed 3 incoming student athletes that have committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at Holy Cross College.
Brandon Norcutt (Yorba Linda, CA), Jake Radde (Granger, IN), and Chris Walker (Fostoria, MI) will join the Saints this fall.
"All 3 will be welcomed additions to the HCC community as well as be valuable members of the 2011-2012 hockey team," said Head Coach Bill Schmatz.
Norcutt is 6'1" winger, Walker 5'8" two-way player, and Radde 6'0" two-way player will all look to contribute to the Saints lineup next fall.
Norcutt, is from Southern California where he attended Halstrom High School. He played his hockey for high school sports power Mater Dei High School in Southern California.
"Brandon is a very powerful and physical forward that will add a very good scoring punch to our offense," said Head Coach Bill Schmatz.
Radde is a local product out of St. Joe High School. He was the city scoring champion this year where he led the Indians to their 3rd straight city title.
"Jake, is a very smart and composed player on the ice. His versatility as a two-way player will allow us to use him in number of different ways in the upcoming season," said Head Coach Bill Schmatz.
Walker attended North Branch High School in North Branch, MI where he was MVP of his hockey team in his Senior season.
"Chris has a great hockey IQ. His passing skills will add a lot of creativity to our team in our offensive and neutral zone attack," said Head Coach Bill Schmatz.
"We are very excited about signing these three exceptional players. They will fit right in with what we are trying to do and accomplish here at Holy Cross with our hockey team."
Last season the Saints finished with a 21 - 8 record in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA DIII).
