Men's Basketball Inks Three For Upcoming Season

Yama Kader is a 6'0 shooting guard who spent his first two years playing collegiately at Santa Ana Junior College. He looks to fit into the lineup as a premier shooter to stretch the defenses this upcoming season.
"Yama is a great athlete that can really shoot the ball. He has an unbelievable basketball IQ that will translate well to the NAIA level," said Coach Bob Schermerhorn.
Alajowon Edwards is a 6'1 wing from Michigan City High School where he was the leading scorer averaging 12.4 ppg and First Team All Duneland Conference.
"Alajowon is a great wing player that can really slash to the bucket. He has very good hands and is a ball hawker on the defensive end," said Coach Bob Schermerhorn.
Darrell McIntyre is a 6'2 wing player from Emmerich Manual High School. He lettered in basketball and was an All-City Medal Winner his Senior Year at Emmerich Manual.
"Darrell is an extroadinary athlete. He is one of the best defensive players I have ever seen coming out of high school. His leaping ability will also help us rebounding the ball on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor," said Coach Bob Schermerhorn.
"We are very excited to get these three extroadinary student-athletes for next season. They will be a be a big benefit to our team both on and off the floor," said Schermerhorn.
Kader is the son of Rona and is intending to major in Education while at Holy Cross. Edwards is the son of Venicia and is undeclared in his major right now at Holy Cross. McIntyre is the son of Temia and Darrell and he is intending to major in History while at Holy Cross.
