(Bourbonnais, Illinois) The No. 10 ranked Tigers of Olivet Nazarene University kept their undefeated conference streak alive last night at the hands of the Saints.
The Tigers, boasting a seven game conference winning streak, five shutouts, and a record of 10-1-1 (4-0 CCAC) were all business last night, tallying 10 goals and another shutout against the Saints.
Holy Cross had trouble offensively, putting forth just two shots, with only one requiring any work from ONU's goalkeeper Wendy Espejel.
The Tigers scored early and often, taking a 1-0 lead in the 7th minute, and closing out the scoring in the 89th minute.
The Holy Cross' record drops to 1-7-0 (0-3 CCAC).
The women return to action this weekend October 8th, at home against St. Xavier University at 1:00 PM.
The game is at the Indiana Invaders Complex. The men's game follows at 3:00 PM.
