(Notre Dame, Indiana)  Averaging 29 points per game for the Holy Cross Men's Basketball Team, Junior Yama Kader (Mission Viejo, California) pushed the Saints to a 2-0 record on the week as CCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week (DII).  Holy Cross earned their first CCAC win of the year over Purdue Calumet 83-77, and also defeated Great Lakes Christian College 111-78.


Netting 29 points in back-to-back wins for the Saints, Kader also grabbed 8.0 rebounds per game.  In a blowout win over Great Lakes Christian College, he had 29 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists while shooting 10-18 from the floor.

He followed that with another 29 point game in a CCAC win over Purdue-Calumet.  He also pulled down 9 rebounds and made four three pointers.  Overall, he finished .476 from the floor, .350 from the three point line, and .733 from the foul line.

The Saints are now 4-9 overall for the season, and 1-2 in the CCAC.  The Saints are back in action on December 28th where they host Brescia University at McKenna Arena in the Pfeil Center at 7:00 p.m.
