Men's Basketball - Tue, Aug. 19, 2008
Prairie Heights High School, LaGrange, IN, senior forward, Andrew Tullis (6'7") has signed a letter of intent to play basketball this fall for Coach Steve Baumgartner of the Holy Cross College Saints in their new sports facility, the Pfeil Recreation Center.

In Tullis's senior year he averaged nearly 16 points per game, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and put together a string of 20-point, 10-rebound games that showed just how dominant he can be. He was named to the NECC All Conference First Team, was also named the Steuben County Athlete of the Week, and was an honorable mention on the IBCA Academic All-State Team.

Head coach Steve Baumgartner has coached the Saints for the past three seasons and is excited to bring the team to varsity-level intercollegiate play in 2008. "We have a pair of very talented forwards now that will give us a strong post presence in the coming season. Tullis will be playing alongside another new recruit, 6'6" Jeff Appleman from Mishawaka Marian High School," remarked Coach Baumgartner.
