The Holy Cross baseball team continued their season this past weekend against Ancilla College and Glenn Oaks Community College. The Saints traveled to Ancilla on Friday March, 20th, to face the Chargers in their only meeting this season. The Saints played strong throughout, but lost the game 10-9 in the bottom of the ninth inning.
On Saturday, March, 21st, the Saints traveled again to play Glenn Oaks Community College in a double header. Glenn Oaks is one of the better programs that Saints will face this year, having many top baseball athletes playing for their squad. The Saints dropped the first game 10-3 with 11 hits in 29 attempts at bat. The Saints played strong, but pitching once again caused late inning struggles for the young team. In the second game of the double header Glenn Oaks defeated the Saints 19-5.
