(Rockledge, Fla.) The Holy Cross Saints women's golf program saw their opening match of the spring season be cancelled due to bad weather over their spring break trip to Florida.

Despite not getting to compete in the match, Saints coach Tim Holt was pleased with the quality practice the team was able to gain.

"It was unfortunate that we didn't get to compete in our match," said coach Holt. "However, I was very pleased with the work and practice time we got in while in Florida. I believe the team will be very competitive over the course of this spring season."

The Saints will next compete in the University of St. Francis Invitational at Inwood Golf Club in Joliet, Illinois on March 29^th and 30^th.
