(Notre Dame, IN) Bryan Norquist of St. Joseph High School (South Bend) has signed a letter of intent to continue his soccer career with Holy Cross. Norquist is the first player to sign under new Head Coach Dustan Harley.
"look forward to watching Brian grow as a player and as a young man over the next four years," said Coach Harley. "I couldn't be prouder to have Brian as my first signing here at Holy Cross."

Norquist was a four year starter for the Indians and captain his senior year. Playing midfield he was able to tally 9 goals and 4 assists in 16 games as a senior. "Brian is a top notch player that we are fortunate to have here at Holy Cross College," said Harley. "He is an impact player that I believe will step in and play a lot of minutes this upcoming fall."

"I heard a lot about Coach Harley, and he saw a lot of confidence in my abilities'" said Norquist. "I am excited for the future of Holy Cross and their up and coming soccer program."

Bryan has yet to decide on a major, but likes the idea of taking a broad range of classes his first year. "I am looking forward to getting a great education over the next four years," said Norquist. "I also believe that Holy Cross will be able to help me mature in my Catholic identity."
