Cross Country - Thu, May. 7, 2009
William Sellers (Grafton, OH) signed a letter of intent Wednesday afternoon to run for the Holy Cross College men's cross country team. 2009 will mark the fourth season for cross country competition at Holy Cross.
In his senior season, Sellers competed in the state championships posting a 17:39.36 time. He was named second team All County, and as a team Elyria Catholic High School finished first in three meets during the 2008 season.
"William is a great kid with a lot of determination" said Head Coach Dave Barstis. "I am looking forward to working with William, and helping him grow as a runner and individual."
Sellers plans on earning his bachelor's degree in business and is excited about the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level. "I chose Holy Cross because not only are the athletics on the rise, but academically the school offers a great education."
