Michael Fitzgerald shot a round two score of 81 at the 2013 NAIA Championship

(Salem, Ore.) Holy Cross junior Michael Fitzgerald (Flossmoor, Ill.) wrapped up round two of the 2013 NAIA Men's Golf Championship at Creekside with a score of 81 (+9). Combined with his day one score of 79, Fitzgerald enters day three in a tie for 116th individually.

Fitzgerald registered his first two birdies of the tournament on hole eight, a par four, and hole 12, a par five.

Currently in round three, Fitzgerald closed out his first nine with a +3 39. Included on his first nine was a birdie on the par five number twelve; the third birdie for Fitzgerald in the tournament.

After back-to-back 69's, Sondre Ronold from Oklahoma City University holds a one stroke lead over Adam Loran of California State-San Marcos.

After Wednesday's round two score, Fitzgerald participated in the NAIA Kid's Clinic hosted by the tournament.
