(Notre Dame, IN) Tyler Ormsby from Concord High School (Elkhart, Ind.) will play for the men's soccer team at Holy Cross this coming fall. Ormsby was a part of the Concord semi - state team in his sophomore year.
"Tyler is a great find for our program," said first year Head Coach Dustan Harley. "He will fit into the midfield quite well for us and will also provide a lot of leadership."
Ormsby was a four year varsity letter winner with Concord. In his senior season, Tyler was midfielder of the year and a team captain.
"Tyler is a player with tremendous touch and is not afraid to put in the extra effort. I look for him to play a significant role for the Saints in the 2009 season," said Coach Harley.
The Saints will open up their third season at home on August 25th, against Moody Bible Institute.
