ELGIN, Ill. -- Two late goals in the first half of Tuesday's Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) matchup against the No. 13 Judson Eagles put the Saints in a tough situation at the end of the first half. The Eagles added three goals in the second half to defeat Holy Cross 5-0. With the loss, the Saints have dropped 10 consecutive games and fall to 3-12 overall and 0-9 in the CCAC.

Jenna Steffensen added two goals in the 35th and 42nd minute of the first half to help the Eagles cruise to a 2-0 lead at the break. Judson took control through the first 45 minutes outshooting the Saints 20-1.

The Saints were able to generate some more offensive chances in the second half, picking up five shots; however, three second half goals for the Eagles, including the third of the game for Steffensen, guided Judson to a 5-0 victory over the Saints.

For the game, the Saints were outshot 36-6.

Freshman Ilse Luna (South Bend, Ind.) led the Saints with two shots on goal off the bench.

Aileen Clouse (Beavercreek, Ohio) finished the game with 15 saves.

The Saints have now been held scoreless for six consecutive games.

Holy Cross (3-12, 0-9) will return home for their final home match of the year on Saturday as they host the Peregrines of Purdue Calumet on senior day where five seniors will be honored.
