CHICAGO, Ill. -- Contributing to six of his team's nine goals on the week, Holy Cross senior captain Garbhan Grant (Letterkenny, Ireland) has earned his second Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week award when the men's soccer awards were announced Tuesday by the league office.

"Another great honor for Garbhan," head coach Omar Gallo said. "His consistent play on the pitch and focus on long-term team goals has really allowed for a breakout year during his senior season. This award not only recognizes the success Garbhan has had this year but the success of our team and how he's helped us take our play to a new level this season."

Grant, who was first recognized back on Oct. 1, provided all three assists in a 3-2 decision over Judson University on Wednesday before authoring one goal and two assists in a 6-2 victory over Purdue University Calumet on Saturday.  The senior midfielder totaled seven points on the week with the one goal and five assists.

The two wins over the seven-day period gave Holy Cross' program a school-record 12 victories on the season with the win over Purdue Calumet providing the Saints with a perfect 8-0 mark at home.

Holy Cross is now 12-5 overall and tied for third place in the league standings with its 7-3 conference record.

The Saints will close out the regular season on the road today against the Trojans of Trinity International University. The game will begin at 3:00 p.m. EST.
