Cross Country - Tue, Aug. 4, 2009
(Notre Dame, IN) Justin Creswell of Riley High School (South Bend, IN) has signed a letter of intent to run cross country for Holy Cross. Creswell brings a wealth of athletic experience to the Saints. He is the second runner to sign with head coach Dave Barstis this year.

At Riley, Justin earned 11 letters competing in track, wrestling, and cross country. As a member of the cross country team, he helped the Wildcats claim two Northern Indiana Conference titles (2006, 2008). In his senior season, the Wildcats recorded an undefeated regular season, and won their sectional.

Creswell was a member of the varsity wrestling team all four years. He qualified for regionals in 2007 and again in 2009. In 2009, Justin was also a member of the Riley track team that won sectionals.
The Saints begin a new season with high hopes and a new home. For the first time in program history, the team will be competing as members of a conference. The Saints join the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC), and look forward at a chance to win a conference title.
