While his coaching career started in high school, it was interrupted by many years of higher education that led to a bachelor's degree from Harvard, a law degree from Notre Dame, and a medical degree from Indiana University.  Dr. Sutula has been affililated with the Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program since 1993 and currently is Senior Associate Director.  He holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine and has served as Event Physician for two NCAA Division I baseball regional tournaments at Notre Dame. 

He has coached multiple Little League, middle school, elite high school, and travel teams over the past 10 years, including many players who have gone on to successful college careers.  He is a partner in an indoor baseball training facility called 'Chasing a Dream' where high school, college, and minor league baseball players train in the off-season.  He looks forward to the challenge of building a winning baseball tradition at Holy Cross College.

Pat Hallahan has been involved in baseball for 25 years. His coaching experience has been at all levels. At the College level, Pat coached under Dean Bowyer at Minnesota State Mankato for three years. Hallahan also holds a certificate from the NAIA in Champions of Character "Character Driven Coaching". At the High School level, Pat was an assistant coach at McLeod West, and Holy Family Catholic in Victoria Minnesota. Pat was also the head coach for 3 years at Winsted Holy Trinity High School. At the Amateur level, Pat was the head coach for 2 years for the Cincinnati Hawks and the coach of the Winthrop Eagles for 1 season.

Hallahan has coached many youth programs at all ages within the Midwest. He led the Hutchinson Pirates to a State Championship in 2000 and in 2002; he led the MCB Cardinals to a 3rd place finish at state. In 2002, Hallahan started the Brownton Baseball Association and in 2003, Hallahan started up the Glencoe VFW program. Both programs are still around today. While at Winsted, coaching the Holy Trinity team Hallahan started the Winsted Legion program in 2005.

Hallahan was a 2004 graduate of Minnesota State University where he also coached the JV Baseball program. He is married to his wife of 21 years, Sharon, and between them, they have four children, all who have gone on to play collegiate softball or baseball. 

Hallahan's playing experience out of high school has all been at the amateur level. Hallahan played 5 seasons for the Glencoe Brewers starting in 1985 until 1990. Hallahan then moved on to play and manage in Cincinnati where he played 2 seasons with the Cincinnati Hawks. Hallahan returned to Minnesota in 1994 to start up the Winthrop Eagles where he played 2 seasons as a player/manager. After that, he played a season for the Brownton Bruins, and two partial seasons with the Hutchinson Huskies and Winsted Wildcats. Hallahan closed out his playing days in 2007 with the Green Isle Irish.
