Head Coach - 3rd Season

Coach Omar is entering his third year with the Saints program, and first as Head Coach. During 2010-2011 season he began his tenure as the JV Head Coach where he led the team to an 8-4 record, and also served as the lead assistant coach where he was in charge of the goal keeper's and fitness training sessions. Currently Coach Omar also serves as the Director of Coaching for Coerver Coaching Indiana which is known and respected as the world's number one soccer skills teaching method.

Coach Omar was born and raised In Hamilton, ON, Canada prior to relocating to South Bend, Indiana to be with his wife. After graduating from Cathedral High School (Hamilton, ON) he continued his education at Mohawk College (Hamilton, ON) where he earned a Degree in Police Foundations. In 2005 Coach Omar received an athletic and academic scholarship to Cape Breton University (Sydney, NS). While attending Cape Breton he served as the men's soccer team captain, and helped capture the team's first Atlantic University Conference Championship. Throughout his career Coach Omar was named a first team All-Star, Academic-All-Canadian, and the Canadian Interuniversity Male Athlete of the Week. In 2008 he received a Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies Degree.

Assistant Coach - 3rd Season
Kyle began his playing career in the St. Louis area where he played for BUSCH Soccer Club. Kyle's club experience was extensive with BUSCH where at one point the team was ranked #4 in the nation for club programs.
 
After finishing his high school tenure, where he was a four year varsity starter and earned All-State Honors along with All-Midwest Region Academic Athlete Honors, he attended Dominican University where he played one year of varsity soccer as the only freshmen to start all games, before transferring to the University of Kentucky. At Kentucky Kyle was asked to walk on to the varsity team but was unable to do so due to a ligament injury in his knee. Kyle played four years on the UK Men's Club Soccer Team where he was co-captain for two of the four years. After earning his B.A. in Psychology at the University of Kentucky, Kyle enrolled at the University of Denver for his M.A. in Sport and Performance Psychology.
 
Kyle began his coaching career while in high school volunteering as a student coach for the girls' program and at the youth level. At the University of Kentucky Kyle assisted as a player coach for the Men's Club Program and as an assistant coach with Lafayette High School's boys' varsity and junior varsity teams. After moving to Denver Kyle began coaching with the Littleton United Soccer Club. Kyle then began coaching with Broomfield Blast Soccer Club after one year with Littleton. He was also a volunteer coach with two club teams hosted through the University of Denver.
 
Kyle is hoping to bring his passion for the game of soccer and his knowledge and education in Sport and Performance Psychology to assist with building the Holy Cross College Men's Soccer team to a premier NAIA program. Kyle lives in the South Bend area where he works as a Child and Adolescent Therapist for a community mental health provider.
