Head Coach Matt Hunsberger enters his second season with the women's basketball program at Holy Cross College.

Coach Hunsberger, originally from Mishawaka, Indiana, played basketball at Penn High School. Hunsberger started coaching women's basketball as an assistant at Granger Christian High School in 2002. After just one year, he took over as head coach and continued through the 2005 - 2006 season.

"I am very excited and thankful for the opportunity to coach the women's basketball team at Holy Cross," said Coach Hunsberger. "Coaching and influencing young lives through the game of basketball is one of my greatest passions."

Originally from Galveston, Ind., Betsy Kwiatkowski played at Lewis Cass High School and was named one of the top 100 seniors by Indiana Hoosier Basketball Magazine (2003). She set the school record with 1,438 points during her senior season and was named first alternate on the Indiana All-Star Ballot.

Coach Kwiatkowski, a former basketball player at Cleveland State University and Lincoln Memorial University currently works with the South Bend/ Mishawaka Convention and Visitors Bureau as the executive director of the South Bend Regional Sports Commission.

At Cleveland State, Kwiatkowski earned the Athletic Academic Excellence Award in 2004, 2005, and 2006. At Lincoln Memorial University she was named team captain for the 2006-07 year. In her final season at Cleveland State, Betsy played in 20 games started in 9 and averaged 15 points per game. Most recently Betsy was the assistant varsity coach at St. Joseph High School in South Bend.
