Senior point guard Dane Okuda lifted the Saints to their 11th win of the season their last time out with a three-pointer at the buzzer to cap off the comeback win over IU Northwest. The Saints trailed by as many as 15 points in the game and by two points with 18 seconds remaining before Okuda's shot at buzzer lifted the Saints.
Okuda has started in all 15 games this season while averaging a career-best 7.5 points per game and dishing out a team-high 48 assists. His buzzer beater over IU Northwest is the second this season for Okuda as he hit the game-winning three-pointer to upset No. 16 Grace (Ind.).
The Saints (11-5) are off to their best start before the new year in the history of Holy Cross men's basketball.
